Address |
Each machine has a unique IP address. If you do not know your IP number you should ask your local network administrator what it is. Or you can send eMail to hostmaster(at)UCS.fsu.edu . Never never enter in a bogus IP. |

Router Address |
Your Router address is associated with your IP address. If you do not know your Router number you should ask your local network administrator what it is. Or you can send eMail to hostmaster(a)UCS.fsu.edu . |
| Subnet Mask | 255.255.255.0 |

POP
(or IMAP) Account |
At FSU, your POP or IMAP account is the same as the machine which hosts your eMail account. Thus, if you receive your eMail on Garnet, your POP account will be garnet.acns.fsu.edu . |
| SMTP
Account (Outgoing eMail) |
At FSU, your SMTP account is normally the same as your POP account. I.e., if you receive your eMail on Garnet, your POP account will be garnet.acns.fsu.edu . If you are away from FSU and want to forward your eMail to your home ISP you may have to change the SMTP entry in your configuration. See How to Forward your eMail for more info. |
