Hungary

Budapest, Hungary, our next stop was only about a four hour drive - one of the shortest drives from country to country that we made. It was still raining, and cold too, when we arrived. I remember coming down a steep hill, as we neared the center of the old city, and seeing multiple automobile accidents on the slippery wet roads. It wasn't the kind of welcoming party we were looking for. However, it did stop raining when we arrived downtown, and we were fortunate enough to befriend a person on the street who offered us a place to stay.
